2007 Documents

This report presents findings from research commissioned by the Corangamite Catchment Management Authority (CCMA). Data were collected through a survey of rural landholders in the CCMA region during 2006. A response rate of 57% (552 completed surveys) was achieved.

Gellibrand River Environmental Flows Study
Corangamite Catchment Management Authority (Corangamite CMA) is in the process of developing environmental water requirements for the rivers and streams in the Gellibrand River Catchment. The project will recommend the flows required to achieve a 'healthy ecosystem', as defined in the Victorian River Health Strategy. (Link)

Productive Trees, Healthy Landscapes

The Central Victorian Farm Plantations Committee (CVFP), in partnership with the Corangamite Catchment Management Authority (Corangamite CMA), have produced a guide for landholders involved in private forestry. [Download 2.2MB]

Corangamite Plant Species Notes

The Corangamite Region Species Notes provide guidelines on some commonly used indigenous plants for seed collectors, nurseries and revegetators.
They were completed as part of the Corangamite Revegetation and Seed Supply Framework to answer gaps in species information. The notes include Silver Wattle, Black Wattle, Lightwood, Wirilda, Bushy Needlewood, Yellow Gum, River Red Gum, Sweet Bursaria, River Bottlebrush, Sticky Hop-bush, Silver Banksia and Drooping Sheoak and an introductory note on seed collection ranges. Estuary survey
