Waterway Condition

Streams in the Otway Coast Basin, which has 60 per cent forest cover, are in good or excellent condition, particularly in the central section of the basin that contain many high ecological values. Streams in marginal or poor condition are generally in the far western and eastern sections of the basin. Summaries of the condition of waterways in each of the Otway Coast Basin landscape zones are provided below.
