The Corangamite Catchment Management Authority (CMA) is a Victorian Government statutory authority whose role it is to work with and support local communities to improve sustainable land, biodiversity and water resources management, in an area stretching from its head office in Colac to Geelong, Ballarat and Peterborough.

Project Support Officer, Waterway Infrastructure (Colac/Geelong)

Full Time Permanent Contract – 38 hours per week
Salary range: $58,356 to $67,733 per annum (negotiable based on experience) plus superannuation

A rewarding opportunity for a Project Support Officer is now being offered to support the Water Infrastructure team which assists land managers and communities to deliver improved sustainable natural resource management, environmental and waterway management, management of the Barwon River Parklands and events associated with the Barwon River in Geelong.


With a focus on providing project and administrative support for the delivery of specific water infrastructure projects, programs and services, this role also contributes to the business and cultural development of the organisation through building and maintaining relationships with staff and key stakeholders.

You will possess high level interpersonal, engagement and communication capabilities, with the strong customer service focus and awareness. You will have a flexible and adaptable approach, possess the ability to build strong professional relationships, gain cooperation and to work as part of a team. You will actively contribute to building and supporting a high performing organisational culture and model the values of the Corangamite CMA and the Victorian Public Service.

This role requires experience or knowledge in natural resource management, environmental/waterway management, parkland and/or event management or community development or a relevant qualification.

Board and Executive Officer (Colac)

 

Full Time Permanent Contract – 38 hours per week

Salary range: $69,490 to $79,260 per annum (negotiable based on experience) plus superannuation

 A rewarding opportunity for a Board and Executive Officer is being offered to provide executive administration support to the Board, CEO and the Executive Management Team. 

With a focus on providing executive and business support, board secretariat duties, governance and compliance responsibilities, this role also contributes to the business and cultural development of the organisation through building and maintaining relationships with staff, board members and key stakeholders.

About You

You will possess high level interpersonal, engagement and communication capabilities, with the strong customer service focus and awareness. You will have a flexible, adaptable and resilient approach, possess the ability to build strong professional relationships, gain cooperation and to work as part of a team. You will actively contribute to building and supporting a high performing organisational culture and model the values of the Corangamite CMA and the Victorian Public Service.

This role requires substantial relevant experience in executive level administrative support and Board Secretariat and/or Governance support or similar, as well as appropriate computer skills for a modern office environment.
